Services Provided at Our Hospital’s Eye Unit:

Computerized eye and eyeglass examination: Evaluating your eyes in detail using computerized devices to determine your prescription and provide you with the appropriate eyeglass prescription.

General eye examination: Carefully examining your eyes to assess your eye health, measuring intraocular pressure, and checking your eye pressure.

FAKO method – Cataract surgery: Surgery to remove the natural lens of the eye when it becomes cloudy (cataract) and replace it with an artificial lens. The FAKO (phacoemulsification) method uses ultrasonic energy to break up the cataract, making the surgery less invasive.

Pediatric eye diseases and strabismus: A specialized unit for the diagnosis and treatment of common eye diseases in children, particularly conditions such as strabismus.

Eye pressure (glaucoma): Diagnostic and treatment services to monitor intraocular pressure and prevent vision loss associated with high pressure.

Contact lens unit: Evaluation of the suitability of contact lenses for patients deemed appropriate by ophthalmologists, lens selection, and suitability testing.

FFA (Eye angiography): An imaging technique used to examine the blood vessels of the eye using angiography, particularly for the diagnosis and monitoring of retinal diseases.

OCT (Optical Coherence Tomography): An imaging technique used to visualize and examine the internal structures of the eye in detail.

Corneal topography: Mapping and analyzing the shape of the cornea’s surface.

Eyelid surgery: Surgical treatment of eyelid diseases, particularly to correct conditions such as drooping or misalignment.

Tear duct obstruction treatment: Surgical interventions to open blocked tear ducts and ensure proper tear drainage.

Cryotherapy: A treatment method used to destroy abnormal eye tissues by freezing them.
