askgamblersprofile I’ve been diving into some older shonen series lately. Just finished Hunter x Hunter and man, that Chimera Ant arc really got me. The depth of character writing from Togashi is something else. I’m also catching up on Jujutsu Kaisen season 2 – MAPPA did an incredible job with the animation. Not sure about some pacing choices though. Also started reading the Vinland Saga manga, and the shift from revenge to peace is surprisingly compelling. If you’re into seinen with real character growth, check it out. I wish the filler episodes in some shows weren’t so frequent, but overall it’s a great escape.
